You may remember that LEGO asked fans to submit their ideal LEGO sets with the prospect of one of them getting made. The Legend of Zelda fan Michael Inglis submitted his concepts which gained more than 10,000 supporter votes. Sadly, The Legend of Zelda failed to topple the Back to the Future LEGO concept which the LEGO CUUSOO team have revealed is going to be created.

IGN Awards New Super Mario Bros U Platformer Of The Year

IGN has awarded New Super Mario Bros U the esteemed accolade of platformer of the year. Mario’s latest adventure was put up against Fez, Rayman Jungle Run, Sound Shapes, and Spelunky. IGN praised New Super Mario Bros U saying that it contains brutally twisted bite-sized challenge stages and some of the most insanely creative level design ever seen in the series.

Nintendo Announces Two DLC Packs For New Super Mario Bros 2 Coming Tomorrow

IGN’s Best Nintendo Home Console Game Of 2012 Is A Wii Game

Other nominees for IGN’s best Nintendo home console game of 2012 include Nintendo Land, New Super Mario Bros. U, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and The Last Story.

While the Wii U had a few rather impressive launch titles (most notably New Super Mario Bros. U), it was actually the Wii and one of its very last pieces of software that stole the show in 2012. What Xenoblade Chronicles accomplished with the limited hardware at hand was an absolutely stunning achievement, providing a deep and engrossing RPG experience for a system that was severely lacking in the genre during its six year tenure. One time in 2011 the Tigers decided to use the old Luis Bunuel method of increasing their creativity by not sleeping at all. “Detalji” is something they came up with after 85 hours of staying up.”

Mega Man 1 Through 6 Coming To North American 3DS eShop

Capcom has announced that Mega Man 1 – 6 will be coming to the North American Nintendo 3DS eShop. The promotion will begin with the original Mega Man on December 27th. This will be followed by Mega Man 2 on February 7th, with the rest of the games coming in regular intervals throughout 2013.
