Japan: 3DS Sells 180k And Wii U Sells 75k, Puzzle & Dragons Z Comes Top

This week’s Media Create Sales are now in from Japan. At the top of the charts this week is the newly released Nintendo 3DS title Puzzle & Dragons Z, which sells a whopping 540k copies. The former free to play mobile app had taken the Japanese gaming market by storm and it looks like it’s not giving up any time soon.

Elsewhere in the software chart is a great boost for Super Mario 3D World, which shifts almost 58k copies, while the rest of the chart is dominated by a number of 3DS titles in the run up to the holiday season.

But the biggest news, and perhaps the most vital, is the Wii U sales figures which have begun to creep up steadily week on week. Wii U sales have reached almost 75k this week, climbing another 25k up from last week’s figures. Plus, Nintendo 3DS and…
