LEGO City Undercover Scores High In First Review

lego_city_undercover_rex_furyGame Informer has published its review of LEGO City Undercover, which releases later this month exclusively for Wii U. The publication awarded the open world video game with an 8.5 out of 10. The reviewer, Game Informer’s Jeff Cork, said the game is ‘one of the funniest games he’s played in a while,’ and that its replay value is ‘moderately high.’ Cork also said that while platforming in the game is a weak spot, the developer did a great job of incorporating the Wii U GamePad. Nintendo has released a brand-new trailer for LEGO City Undercover, which is exclusive to the new Wii U console and launches March 18th in North America. In the open world video game, players take control of Chase McCain, an undercover cop who hunts down criminals across a huge city. Throughout the game, Chase gains multiple disguises that give him additional abilities. To aid him on his missions, Chase can use various forms of transportation, including vehicles such as cars, helicopters and boats, and he can even ride animals such as horses and pigs.

LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins coming to 3DS – 3DS and Nintendo News from Vooks

Bet you didn’t even know there was a 3DS version of LEGO City Undercover coming did you? Well there is and the first information about the game has today been revealed by Nintendo of America.

The game will follow the story of Chase McCain, but as a rookie cop. It’s also said that the game won’t be exactly the same as the Wii U version, given that the Wii U is a HD console and the 3DS isn’t, this isn’t suprising.

The 3DS version of the game will be arriving, at least in North America on April 21st. The Wii U version was just announced to have a release date of March 18th in America as well.

The latest edition of Game Informer has revealed that TT Games and Marvel are teaming up together to bring Lego Marvel Super Heroes to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita, and PC.
